Sticky Poo !!!! 19th July 2010

Dave got some work with the Shire doing the cleaning of all the public toilets and offices at Tom Price, the usual cleaner went away on holidays for 5 weeks so Dave took the job, it was the funniest sight seeing him in his fluro top with his pink gloves cleaning the toilets, he did a great job and came accross plenty of nasty surprises and was amazed how the mens toilets always had sticky poo!!!!

Karijini National Park July 17th 2010

We took the caravan for one night to stay at Dales Camp Ground at Karijini National Park, its about 120ks from Tom Price and it would have to be the most beautiful Gorge we have ever seen, we went for a walk down into the gorge and went swimming at Circular Pool and then walked along the bottom of the gorge until we got to Fortiscue Falls we stopped for a picnic lunch along the way and then walked onto Fern Pool, we had the most beautiful day, it is an oasis in the middle of nowhere.

Tom Price July 2010!!!

We arrived at Tom Price on the 14th of July 2010, our friends from Adelaide, Allan and Helen parents, Mary and Selwin live here so we gave them a call and they welcomed us into there home, we stayed out on their front yard for a few weeks and then was offered by Allans brother to stay at their house for a couple of weeks while they were on holiday, and then we went to the local caravan park to stay for a while, we were only in Tom Price for a few days and Dave got a job with the Shire doing some cleaning, so we decided to send the kids to the local school, Mary and Selwin have been so wonderful to us, they look after Jar Jar for us everyday and the kids are loving it here, I have even got some work with the shire at the Visitor Centre so it looks like we are here for a while, the weather is absolutely perfect her about 25 everyday so we are enjoying the sun before we go down south.
