We went for a day trip to Hamersley Gorge, it was beautiful, the colours in all the rocks were amazeing, Hayden decided to go for a swim in the freezing cold water but he had a good time, we got a flat tyre on the way so Dave changed the tyre and off we went.

Munjina George Lookout 14th June 2010
On our way to Tom Price we stayed over night at the Munjina Gorge Lookout free camp site, we arrived late at night at sat outside looking at the stars for hours, it was the most beautiful night.

Happy Birthday Hayden!! We were in Port Hedland for Haydens Birthday and all he wanted was a mud cake and to go out to an all you can eat resturant, as we turned the corner to go to the shops we saw a sign all you can eat chinese, he was so excited, on the morning of his birthday he got all his prescents including an ipod touch and then he had a nice big mud cake with all his friends he had made at the caravan park and we all sang happy birthday and then we went out for dinner, Hayden was so excited when he saw the all you can eat jelly, he had a great day

We stopped at Degrey River Free Camp site for one night, it was a beautiful spot, we had a great night Ebony cooked Tuna Mornay for dinner and Dave and I had a drink and watched the sun go down by the river

Port Smith, Fishing, Fishing and more Fishing!!!! 6th June 2010
Well we went for one night and stayed for a week, we had a ball, we went fishing everyday, we had entertainment, and the owner takes you out on his boat every second day to this island. Dave spent a whole day looking for mud crabs, he poked around all the crab holes with this steel rod and then he pulled them out with his hands, his first time ever he was so excited to finally eat mud crab, we caught enough fish for a week or more, Hayden was the champian fisherman and he let everyone know about it
Port Smith, Fish and Chip Night!!!! 3rd June 2010
We decided to head off to Port Smith Caravan Park because our neighbour in broome told us to go there, we had to travel 23km on a dirt road which doesnt sound like much but with the big van on the back it took forever, Port Smith is just a caravan park near the beach, there is nothing else for miles, we arrived on fish and chip night and were told we had to go, so off we went with our chairs and some drinks and it was all set up with fires and a band, it was a fantastic night, Hayden danced all night and played some games and Dave won 3rd prize in the raffle tickets

Days on the Beach at Broome!! 1st June 2010
We had the most beautiful sunsets on the beach at Broome, we went climbing around the rocks looking at hermit crabs, jellyfish, shells and lots of sea life, the kids had a great time, we stayed a week and we would have stayed longer but there is no dogs allowed in the peak season in any of the caravan parks, so off we went to Port Smith Caravan Park.
Staircase to the Moon....Broome... 29th May 2010
We all went to Roebuck beach to watch the Staircase to the Moon, its an annual event at Broome where the sun goes down and then the moon comes up, the water on the beach gives the affect of a staircase to the moon, it was a lovely night, we had a few wines on the beach and went to the markets and then said farewell to Grandma and Old Pa

We have arrived at Beautiful Broome!!! 27th May 2010
Well we have arrived at beautiful Broome, it took us a while to find accomadation as no one likes to have dogs in the parks, but we managed to find an unpowered site, we went for a lovely walk along the jetty and went and had a drink at Cable Beach and watched the sun go down we saw the camels came up from the beach, it was the most beautiful sunset and everynight is the same, I can understand why people come to visit Broome.

Our next stop was Fitzroy crossing, we went for a river cruise along Geike Gorge.
Wyndham 24th May 2010
We went to Wyndham for the day to see where the 7 rivers meet and have a look around, we saw a lot of Boab Trees, so we thought we would take some photos, something we dont see in SA, they are everywhere in this part of WA
Next Stop Kununurra WA 23rd May 2010
Next stop was Kununurra WA, we stopped for lunch at Timber Creek to cook up all our left over vegies, they chaeck everything at the border they even took our honey, when we arrived at Kunnunurra ther was a festival on, so the kids had a great time, Hayden collected rubish for a free can of soft drink.
Katherine Hot Springs 22nd May 2010
We headed off to Broome with Grandma and Old Pa, it was a bit of a tight squeeze in the Pajero but we all managed to fit in ok, our first stop was Katherine, we took Grandma and Old Pa to the Hot Springs, it was beautiful and refreshing after such a hot day.
Dave tried Crocadile for the first time 21st may 2010
We went out to dinner with Maum and Dad to Tims Steak Resturant in Darwin and left the kids behind, Mum had a nice big steak and Dave tried Crocadile for the first time

We went to the Waterpark at Darwin with Grandma and Old Pa and its all Free we couldnt believe it, Old Pa was the biggest kid of all he had a great time going on all the slides with Hayden and then with Dave, Mum and I just sat back and had a good laugh watching the 70 year old on the slides, Old Pa wasnt sure if there was an age limit but he went on anyway, we had a great day out
The Helecopter Ride 19th May 2010
After the Crocadile cruise, Mum and Dad decided to go on a helicopter ride and they shouted Hayden to go on aswell, they had never been on a helicopter ride before, they left the doors off and had a fantastic time, then we all went out to the Casino for tea, Hayden siad it was his best day ever!!!
Jumping Crocadiles!!!!! 19th May 2010
We all went to the Jumping Crocadile cruise, Mum, Dad, The Platts and us, it was one of the original jumping crocadile cruises and it was fantastic, there was an airconditioned room downstairs and an open area up top to sit and watch the crocadiles, we saw lots of crocadiles jumping up to catch dinner and we saw some eagles fly in to cath some food, it was a great day, Mum had never seen anything like it before, it makes you realise never go near any of the rivers in Darwin the crocs were everywhere and they were huge!!!!

Fun with Family and Friends in Darwin 18th May 2010
Mum and Dad arrived in Darwin at 2:00am, we all went out for dinner at the Yaught Club and had a great night with the most beautiful sunset.
