I had to take a photo of the 130 speed sign in NT something we dont see in SA, not that we can go that fast our speed is about 90klm with the van behind us.

Northern Territory Border April 25th 2010
We stopped overnight at the Border of Northern Territory and SA, there was a few caravans there and we met up with our friends we met at Pimba from Germany Dennis and Isi, we sat outside and watched Newmoon, it was a beautiful night.
Coober Pedy April 24th 2010
We arrived at Coober Pedy quite late so we stopped overnight at The Big Truck road side stop, then next morning Dave got up early and went fossicing with the kids for opals, he found lots of little bits of opal in the rocks, they had a great time, we then went into town and went to the underground musuem and the underground church and then Dave had to go and have a beer at the underground pub, we had a great day there and the kids really enjoyed it.
Fly Population in Glandambo April 23th 2010
We stopped at Glendambo to get some fuel and we had to take a photo of the population sign we found this quite funny but true!!
Woomera April 22nd 2010
While the car was at the mechanic's getting the fan belt fixed at Roxby Downs we got a loan car so we decided to go and have a look at Woomera, the kids loved the Museum and learnt all about satelites. We went out for dinner for Daves Birthday at Spuds Roadhouse, we had a lovely meal and watched the sun go down over the horizon.

The Breakdown Dave's Birthday!!!! April 22nd 2010
We just arrived at Pimba for the night and we could here the fan belt making an awful noise so we stopped for the night and the next morning on Daves Birthday he had a look under the bonnet and sure enough the fan belt had snapped, so here we are in the middle of nowhere stuck for a couple of days, we called the RAA and they took Dave and the car to Roxby Downs and gave us a loan car but we had to stay here until the car was fixed, Happy Birthday Dave!!!!

We decided to stay at my cousins place Debbie and Paul, we had a lovely stay in their beautiful home at Port Pirie, we ended up staying a couple of days while we had some electrical work done on the car.
Crystal Brook, Hayden's Birth Place!!! April 19th 2010
We stopped at the Crystal Brook hospital to show Hayden where he was born, it is a beautiful old Hospital and it brought back some memories.
Dave's 40th Birthday Party April 17th 2010
We had a 40th Birthday Party for Dave at The Mawson Lakes Hotel, we had a great night and it was so nice to see all our friends and family before we take off to Alice Springs and Darwin.
Drinks with The Platt's April 16th 2010
We picked up Daves cousin Scott and his girlfriend Kylie from the airport and went to The Platts House for dinner and drinks, well the boys got stuck into the shots so there was a few saw heads the next day, but we had lots and laughs and fun!!!!
The Giant Rocking Horse April 14th 2010
We all went to The Giant Rocking Horse at Gumeracha, Hayden and Dave climbed to the top and Hayden got a certificate, we had a lovely day and then we stayed at Bolivar Caravan Park for a few days to get ready for Dave's 40th Birthday Party!!

Mannum Free Camp site April 13th 2010
We stayed one night at the Mannnum Free Camp site, it is a beautiful spot wright on the river, the toilets are good and maximum stay is 48 hours.
Narrung Free Camp site April 12th 2010
We decided to try out the Narrung free camp site from the Camps 5 book because you can have your dog there, it was a fantastic site near the Ferry and on the water with a little jetty for fishing, we met up with some French couples and we all had a bombfire together, we ended up staying a couple of nights it was so lovely and peaceful.

Fishing at Robe April 10th 2010
We all went fishing on the river at Robe, Simon caught a couple of mullet which he had for breakfast the next day and the kids caught a couple of bream but all under size, Hayden just got stuck in the mud right up to his knees and lost his thongs.

Pinchi The Crayfish!!! 9th April 2010
We all went for a drive to the Local Winery's near Robe and decided to go to Cape Jaffa, we came accross the local crayfish wholesaler and we couldnt resist one of the local crays, it was still alive and we named him Pinchi, we carried him home in a coke box and cooked him up and we all had yummy crayfish for dinner, it was delicious!!!

Fun with friends at Robe 7th April 2010
We had our friends Karen, Simon Emma and Sam come and visit at Robe, we had a beautiful day, we went to the beach and went for a lovely walk down the street and then we all went fishing at night, but had no luck so fish and chips for tea!!

We are at Robe SA, we are working our way to Alice Springs and then Darwin, so the best way is to go through SA, Robe is a beautiful place and it is school holidays so the kids are having heaps of fun, we got all the games out and had some great family fun!!

Happy Easter at The Great Ocean Road!!!! 4th April 2010
Happy Easter!! we had a beautiful day, the kids started the day with their Easter hunt and then we all set off to The Great Ocean Road, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day, we went all the way to Lourne and saw the most beautiful coast line, one side of the road there is a rain forest and the other side of the road there is the ocean, it was great, we had to say goodbye to our friends the Posthuma Family as it was time for them to go home.
Victoria's Oldest Pub!!!! 3th April 2010
The boys had to go to Victoria's oldest pub at Port Fairy, we stayed and had a few drinks before dinner.

Dave has finally finished work!! so we set off to Port Fairy for Easter to meet up with our friends The Posthuma Family, we stayed at the Gum Tree Caravan Park, it was a lovely little caravan park near Port Fairy, we had some nice weather but the nights got really cold.
Haydens Spaceship !!!!! 30th March 2010
Hayden made a spaceship for his Earth, Moon and Sun project, he really enjoyed making it and had a little help from Mum.
Ebony's Bridge !!!!! 30th March 2010
Ebony had to make a bridge for a school project, she had a great time, she used over 4 boxes of matches and burnt them all off and then glued them all together and built her bridge, Ebony is really enjoying school and has made a new friend that she chats to on line for over an hour after every lesson.
