Visiting The Posthuma Family at Somerville!! 26th February 2010

We went to Somerville to spend a few days with our friends The Posthuma Family, the kids were so excited, we met over 12 years ago in Victoria when we had our first babies (Ebony and Matthew) and stayed in contact ever since, we ended up falling pregnant at the same time with our second babies ( Charlotte and Hayden), so we have spent holidays together every year for 12 years.
We went for a lovely drive around the Mornington Peninsula.

Adventure Park at Geelong!!!! 19/02/2010

Vicoria's first Adventure theme park at Geelong, it was a hot day perfect for the water park, the park is very similar to Wet and Wild and White Water World in Queensland, but a little bit smaller, we met Scotty and his boys there for the day, early in the day the park was empty, then 4 bus loads of school kids rocked up so we had a few line ups but not to bad, the kids had a ball and the photos say it all!!!!

The Big Koala

Well its day two and still very exciting. we stopped at the Big Koala, that was good, they are setting up a mini zoo, so the kids got to pat a very friendly goat and saw and baby deer which was fun, then we headed off to Geelong, we are staying at the Eldorado Caravan Park they allow dogs and they have a jumping pillow for the kids and a pool, it took us 2 hours to set up the van and thats without the annex, hopefully it gets better with time, but its all still fun at the moment we have an ensuite site so its very nice here, we went out to the Big 4 to catch up with Scott, (Dave's Cousin) and had a few too many wines and tomorrow we are off to the new Water Park at Geelong.

Australia here we come!!!!! 17th February 2010

Our first day on the road, the 17th of February 2010 the beginning of our new venture, it has been a crazy month, organising storage for our furniture, and cleaning up all the house, getting the van modified to suit our needs, and selling some furniture we no longer needed, it was full on, our settlement was on the 15th of February and then we stayed at Bolivar Caravan Park for 2 nights which was very nice we were very surprised, we had to finalise a few things and say goodbye to everyone, so today it was so exciting to finaly hit the road. Our first night was at Dadswell Bridge Victoria at the big Koala, it was a beautiful day we played eye spy with the kids and did the times tables along the way with Hayden and we stopped at Keith and the kids had a play on the ride at Keith while Dave and I had a coffee and then I saw a big Huntsmen Spider near my bed (I am a big whoos when it comes to spiders)  Dave had to spray the whole van until the spider finally died, then I felt so much better, so off we went again and ended up at Dadswell Bridge for the night Dave and I had a champagne to celebrate the beginning of our new journey.
